Michael E. Weinstein

Attorney Michael Weinstein is a graduate of Long Island University 1965, and Brooklyn Law School 1968.  Michael has enjoyed an extensive career as a Criminal and Civil Trial Attorney, and now concentrates his practice exclusively on Criminal Defense,  representing individuals facing criminal accusations ranging from minor offenses to the most severe.  He has also served as a special Deputy Attorney General.  In his past representation of the seriously injured, he was successful in obtaining substantial verdicts and settlements, including recoveries in excess of one million dollars.

Michael is qualified in Pennsylvania as a Criminal Capital Defender and is a staunch opponent of the death penalty.  

He is licensed to practice in the Courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New York, as well as Federal trial courts and the United States Supreme Court.  

Michael was elected District Attorney of Pike County, and served from 1980 to 1988.  During his tenure, he prosecuted some of the most notorious cases in Pike County history.  His achievements in the courtroom have been recognized by his peers, law enforcement agencies, and the media.

He is a member of the Pennsylvania, New York, and National Associations of Criminal Defenders and is a former member of the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association and its Executive Committee.  Attorney Weinstein currently is General Counsel to the Delaware Valley School District.  He has served in that capacity for 15 years. 

Michael is an active member of the Milford Fire Department and is a former Judge Advocate of the Marine Corps League, Gung Ho Detachment 909.  He is a member and past Master of the Milford Lodge F & A M #344.  He was a founding member of the United Way of Pike County and was a charter member of its Board of Directors.
